Talking about one another's work today!

Today we'll hear briefs and talk about these three projects:

Jason Leyba: Higher Order Primitives for Reconstruction of Coarsely Sampled Imagery

Chris Sexton: "Vectorizing" Gridded Urban Simulations

Jared Summers: Adaptive Frameless Sampling on the GPU

I'm trying to reserve a room since our lab is in disarray -- stay tuned!

(Okay, this means that I didn't get my act together and send you a reading! Watch your email for something about next week).

Monday Oct 2 -- learning about each other

Hey folks,

I've been remiss in posting a reading this week, so we'll just take the opportunity to tell one another about ourselves and our interests. This is always something that's good to do regardless -- strength through numbers.

See you today, 3:30PM in EBII rm 2244!

Next meeting Tuesday 3:30!

Hey folks,

Next we will read:

Statistical Geometry Representation for Efficient Transmission and Rendering
, ACM TOG, Kalaiah & Varshney.

This in keeping with the lab's interest in "higher order" image representations.

Because of the Labor Day holiday we will meet 24 hours later than usual. See you Tuesday, 3:30PM in EBII rm 2244!
